I never in my life thought I’d see a dismantling of our country like what has occurred since January 20. Sadly, I think it’s going to get far worse. We have to persevere, no matter how tough it gets.

Trump's narcissism revels in the schadenfreude he enjoys, the misery he heaps on others: whomever or the countries he despises, envies or those who have not been loyal. His best pleasure is taken from the misfortunes and cruelty.

This has been who he is since he was a child.

44 more months of his reign. Can the country survive? How many countries will fall into ruin and violence....

A small yet staggeringly scary item in the reconciliation bill would neuter the judiciary by declaring that the courts shall not find in contempt any actions by the executive to defy or ignore any court ruling… This needs more coverage!

I was going to make the same comment. I actually thought that would be the crowning point in this article about King Don.

I’m enjoying your intelligent content, one of fav Substack subscriptions. Regarding puppy training…one of the best things I’ve ever done with my labs as puppies was this: for one (or two) puppy meals a day, sit down on the floor with the food out of reach and begin teaching them very simple commands like sit, down, sit from down (takes a LOT of puppy mental energy) and reward them with a bit of kibble or whatever food you’ve decided to feed (wet is a little messy). Even at 8 weeks they learned super fast. I did it for at least a month or two. They LOVED it. More than that, it created a bond with me and I with them that I’ve not experienced with previous pups. It’s not original. I snagged it from Rachel Fusaro, an influencer who does great things for dogs and their people.

…I left out a key piece…when you start, hold the bit of food and use a cue…I use ‘pay attention’ and when they make eye contact…then you do as I said above. They are 4-5 years old now and when I feed them, I put their bowl in front of them and say ‘pay attention’ and after eye contact, ‘free’. When I need them to listen, I use the same cue. That’s it! Good luck. Cute, cute puppy.
